George Dudzinski
Sent Neil an ancient and badly 'corroded' photo of my great-grandfather and it came back 'as new'… Really impressive! And really quick, too! .
Nick Odoni
The original photo was a bent and faded metal plate photo, called a 'tintype' or 'ferrotype', about 4 inches by 3 inches in size, dating from the early-mid 1880s. It was badly faded, had little chips of enamel missing, many scratches (particularly over the face) and some blue-ish water and other chemical discolourations down part of one side. The first proof restoration showed a remarkable improvement in almost all respects, although there were still some points of restoration that needed attention. This were dealt with promptly and effectively. This left some points of finer detail in specific parts of the photo, matters of line or form or tone, that were needing of some further work, and after some exchanges with the restorer by e-mail these were achieved to my complete satisfaction. Overall, this was a first class service: prompt, attentive, skilled, and willing to deal with the points of detail required to achieve a beautiful and striking restoration. The service of this restorer is wholly recommended.Moreexpand_more

This badly light polluted picture from 1963 was repaired beautifully at a very reasonable cost.
Rachel Foster
What can I say? Perfect! I am so delighted wth the result - cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you.
Stuart Roberts
Neil was commissioned to restore a matt finish photograph that was crazed and had a 1mm crack straight through the middle. I was absolutely amazed at what he produced and in the same finish and at the price. His policy in terms of duty of care was frustrating but then the man knows only to well the pitfalls of sending abroad ( which is where I live) and no amount of insurance can replace a precious photo. The man cares about his work and for your property and he is the man for the job.Moreexpand_more
Response : Many thanks for your kind review of my photo restoration services, and thank you again for understanding the shipping issues when posting outside UK.
